Serenity Scream-Free Program

For Marriage by Certified Scream-Free Therapist

Stop "screaming" at each other, be it out loud or slightly screaming by shutting down and shutting your partner out.  In Scream-Free Marriage, we teach couples how to embrace conflict to strengthen a marriage. Conflict can actually be the exact experience people need to help then grow and find new levels of maturity and intimacy that they have always desired. By simply learning the ScreamFree formula of Calming Down, and Getting Closer, you too can end up with a closer and more loving marriage.  By taking notes and using work books the viewer processes at a deep internal level the changes that are needed in the marriage to make the marriage better and stronger.

Parenting Quiz

Serenity Scream-Free Parenting

“Good parenting is not just about lowering your voice. It's about learning to calm your emotional reactions and learning to focus on your own behavior more than your kids' behavior. Our biggest enemy as parents is not the TV, the Internet, or even drugs. Our biggest enemy is our own emotional reactivity. When we say we "lost it" with our kids, the "it" in that sentence is our own adulthood. And then we wonder why our kids have so little respect for us, why our kids seem to have all the power in the family. It's time to do it differently. And you can. You can start to create and enjoy the types of calm, mutually respectful, and loving relationships with your kids that you've always craved. You can begin to learn how to change  your family for the better. Parenting is not about kids, it's about parents. If you're not in control, then you cannot be in charge. What every kid really needs are parents who are able to keep their cool no matter what.” Excerpt from Scream-Free Book Review

This program is FREE for military members and family. Workbooks not included but may be purcshaced.

Some example questions might be:

How much time will you spend with the family vs your spouse and how will you rotate holidays among your two with families?

What is your role as a spouse (don't confuse with responsibilities like working, home chores and providing food)?

What rituals do you have to make up after a argument?

Will you raise the kids to go to church and what church and how offten will they attend?

Happy Family

Our Family Peace Program

It is often the case that married couples wait until divorce is an option to work on their marriage as a last ditch effort to avoid divorce. Many come in for standard therapy treatment. However, some cases may be more serious and in need of more intensive help. If you and your spouse are seriously thinking about getting a divorce, we offer a unique emergency based intervention program designed to help you save your marriage. This program is tailored to meet your individual marriage needs. In general the program offers intensive therapy services three times a week, with two therapists. This allows each spouse their own personal therapist and provides the couple with a second opinion and view point on how to save their marriage. In general the program looks at adjusting communication skills within the marriage, conducting a need based assessment of both spouses, anger management training, our ScreamFree marriage and parenting program (see more on this above) and other interventions as needed to try and save your marriage.
